Exo Terra Hagen EXOTERRA LAMP GLOW MEDIUM 21CM

The inside of the lamp is coated with a fluorescent layer that imitates a soft moonlight glow at night. The sturdy metal hood has a ceramic socket and a rotating spring clamp. Easy operation is achieved with a switch located on the long power cord. The inside of the hood is coated with a highly reflective fluorescent layer that emits a soft light long after the lamp is turned off. This allows day-active reptiles to calmly retreat to their nighttime hiding places. The moonlight glow provides suitable visibility for nocturnal reptiles and amphibians without disturbing their circadian rhythm. It is also ideal for observing animals at night without requiring light that can cause stress and disorientation. The reflective coating reflects light rays that are normally wasted and accumulates light energy released during operation. The accumulated energy is slowly released at night when the lamps are turned off. This eliminates the need for additional night lights unless they are used for heating.
