ZigBee smart water detector with alarm siren. This water detector is a practical addition to all rooms where unwanted water leaks may occur. The sensor contact is placed on the floor and detects water leakage, for example from a washing machine, boiler, or dishwasher. In this case, the alarm siren integrated in the transmitter generates a warning signal, and a direct notification is sent to the smartphone / tablet. In this way, possible water damage can be reduced or avoided – smart integration is required using a ZigBee gateway device, e.g., Hama Smart Home Hub (sold separately): it transmits the ZigBee signal to WLAN so it can be integrated into the Hama Smart Home app. – Enables early detection of water leaks and can be used for smart automation with other devices (e.g., alarm sirens, warning lights). – Voice control available via Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Siri. – Operates with two AAA batteries (included).
