This model combines an upper "HotForge" keylock carabiner with a lower lightweight "HotWire" wire carabiner, so the quickdraw is convenient both when clipping into a bolt and when clipping the rope.

The upper "HotForge" carabiner has a snag-free keylock construction that reduces the risk of snagging when clipping into anchor points. The lower colored "HotWire" carabiner acts as a clear visual target for rope clipping, while the wire gate construction helps reduce weight and maintain smooth clipping.
