The Danfoss Icon™ room thermostat is designed to blend in with any interior. This is why Danfoss has deliberately chosen to make it similar to the trim frames of conventional switches.

In-wall or on-wall?

If the Danfoss Icon™ room thermostat fits into a flush-mounted box, we recommend choosing the in-wall model. Its depth is only 11 mm, and the square housing measures 80 x 80 mm, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the interior design.

The on-wall model is the best choice when there is no mounting box or the dimensions are unsuitable. Its depth is only 25 mm, and the square housing measures 86 x 86 mm, so this model does not protrude more than a conventional light switch.
