ATM 343 3/4" thermostatic mixing valve (1234310) Product description: ATM 343 is a thermostatic mixing valve designed for temperature control in domestic hot water and central heating systems. It has an "anti-scald" function. ATM thermostatic mixing valves should be used wherever anti-scald protection is required and a fast response to changes in water temperature and pressure is desirable. ATM valves allow safe overheating of water in domestic hot water cylinders to protect against Legionella bacteria without scalding users. The "anti-scald" function shuts off the hot water supply if the cold water supply is interrupted. In heating systems such as underfloor heating, ATM valves can replace complex and expensive control systems. Under the plastic cap that protects against accidental adjustment, there is a knob for setting the mixed water temperature. ATM thermostatic valves require no maintenance during operation and can be installed in any position. Designed for use with clean water or water containing up to 50% glycol.
