Effective against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and microorganisms, it ensures compliance with the required biological and bacteriological purity standards. This product, based on quaternary ammonium compounds, has more cleaning and less disinfecting properties compared to „Kwanto 78 plus“. Use: Suitable for care institutions, healthcare institutions, veterinary institutions, schools, swimming pools, the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries, and other institutions where infection prevention is a priority. Intended for manual, machine and foam cleaning. Disinfecting efficacy of the preparation: Bactericidal. An aqueous solution of the preparation (dilution ratio 162) is effective against the following bacteria: Pseudomonas aeruginosa PRD-10, Klebisiella pneumoniae, Shigella dysenteriae, Escherichia coli, Salmonella choleraesuis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus feacalis, Enterobacter aerogenes. Virucidal. When disinfecting hard surfaces, Kwanto 44 eliminates the following viruses: influenza A-2, Asian influenza, herpes, type 5 adenoviruses and chickenpox viruses. Fungicidal. Kwanto 44 is effective against mould and the following fungi: pathogenic fungi, Trichophyton mentagrophytes (athlete's foot). It can be used to disinfect bathrooms, changing rooms and shower cabins. Laboratory tests have confirmed the efficacy of Kwanto 44 against bacteria, viruses and fungi in blood contaminated with 5 % plasma. Kwanto 44 is an effective disinfectant when diluted with water with a hardness of up to 250 ppm (CaCO3). The recommended effective disinfection time is 10 minutes after wet polishing of the surface (at a temperature of 20–25 °C). Dilution: For hard surfaces (walls, floors, worktops, etc.): Disinfection: 1 l – 62 l, contact time: approximately 10 minutes. Disinfection: 1 l – 225 l, contact time: at least 60 seconds. The preparation does not need to be rinsed off, but when washing and disinfecting glossy surfaces, it is recommended to rinse the surface with drinking water until the preparation has completely evaporated to avoid visible residue. pH value: 11–12.
