Floor cleaning robot RCF 3
RCF 3 is a fully autonomous hard floor cleaning device that achieves excellent results thanks to roller technology.
Equipped with carpet detection function, so the floor cleaning robot can be used in any home.
Clean floors with one button press: from now on, the smart RCF 3 floor cleaning robot will take care of the tedious and time-consuming wet cleaning of hard floors. Thanks to proven roller technology, RCF 3 removes stubborn dirt and dried liquids, as well as dust. In doing so, it automatically detects carpets and cleverly avoids them. RCF 3 has two tanks that allow a continuous supply of fresh water to the roller and separate collection of dirty water. Light, dry dirt is easily collected and also transferred to the dirty water tank. With convenient app control, various cleaning levels can be set. The robot is easy to start using the app or by pressing a button on the device.
Features and benefits
FC roller technology
The RCF 3 floor cleaning robot works with proven Kärcher roller technology, which ensures particularly thorough wet cleaning of hard floors. Light, dry dirt is collected directly during wet sweeping and, together with the used cleaning water, collected in the dirty water tank. Roller technology with continuous roller washing and a 2-tank system ensures optimal results even in larger areas, as work is always done with a clean roller. Note: Place the charging station on a floor that is resistant to water, as the wet roller may affect the floor during charging.
2-tank system with fill level indicators
Smart 2-tank system: the microfiber roller is continuously moistened with fresh water from the fresh water tank. Used water and dirt are collected in the 2nd tank. Tank fill level indicators show whether the dirty water tank is full or the fresh water tank is empty. In both cases, the robot stops work and returns to the charging station. This is indicated by LEDs directly on the robot and a notification in the app.
Carpet detection and avoidance
RCF 3 uses an ultrasonic sensor to automatically detect carpeting and shows it on the map in the app. During cleaning, the robot with smart movement technology goes around carpets and prevents them from getting wet. If necessary, carpet avoidance can be disabled in the app so that the robot cleans all surfaces, even low-pile carpets.
Self-cleaning function
- Dirt at the squeegee edge is continuously removed from the roller during cleaning and reliably collected at the comb or transferred to the dirty water tank.
- Best cleaning results thanks to proven roller technology and 2-tank system: dirty water and particles are removed from the roller during cleaning. Also ideal for cleaning larger areas.
Convenient app control via WLAN
- Many settings can be individually adjusted to needs using the app.
- Using the app, the cleaning robot can be controlled and configured from anywhere. Even if you are not at home.
- Display of device status information and cleaning progress via the app.
Accurate maps of existing rooms and various customization options in the app
- Several maps, e.g. for multiple floors, can be saved in the app.
- Define zones that must not be driven over and cleaned (e.g. carpets, play areas and larger obstacles), or zones that must be specifically approached and cleaned separately.
- Individual cleaning settings (cleaning intensity, water quantity, number of passes) for specific rooms or zones, according to cleaning requirements or degree of soiling.
Timer
- Set the cleaning time and create cleaning schedules using the app
- RCF 3 independently starts cleaning tasks according to scheduled dates and/or times.
Speaker
- RCF 3 uses voice output to provide important information and announce the current status.
- If the robot needs help or service, in many cases it will announce this by voice.
Obstacle detection sensors
- Fall sensors reliably protect the "RCF 3" from falling down stairs or ledges.
- The sensors continuously scan the floor. If a possible fall or similar hazard is detected, the controller receives a signal prompting the robot to turn around.
Data protection and updates
- Kärcher is a manufacturer based in Germany; the company places great emphasis on data protection and is particularly committed to complying with all applicable legal requirements.
- All data transmission between the "Home Robots" app on your smartphone and the robot takes place via the cloud only on servers located in Germany.
- Regular updates improve and expand the performance of the cleaning robot and the app. This also means that the system's security is continuously updated to meet current specifications.
