If you need to connect USB devices and peripherals to two computers or even share them, you've found a great solution. This hub has four additional USB ports (2x USB-A and 2x USB-C) that can be easily assigned to 1 or 2 computers with the touch of a button. Connect an external keyboard and mouse, transfer data or videos from a USB drive at speeds up to 5 Gbps, conveniently connecting up to two computers at once. The hub does not require driver installation; just plug it in using the USB-C or USB-A cable and you're ready to go. The hub has built-in surge protection for computers in case of a short circuit in the peripherals. An external USB-C power adapter can be connected with a power of up to 15 W (5 V, 3 A) to ensure greater power supply stability, especially if you want to use multiple HDD or SSD drives. The power adapter is optional and in most cases not needed (NOTE: power adapter not included).
