The AXIS T8612 SFP module LC.SX is a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver that provides a fiber optic network connection to network devices such as switches or routers. It is industrial-grade, features a wide temperature range (from -40 °C to 65 °C), and includes a signal loss function to ensure network redundancy. It complies with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), making it easy to install into corresponding ports at any time without interrupting the main equipment's internet operation. Short-wavelength (850 nm) VCSEL laser diodes enable data transmission up to 550 meters over multimode 50/125 µm optical fiber. The module is tested and verified with Axis products such as the AXIS T8516 PoE+ network switch.
