It enables automatic switching between different modes depending on conditions and event detection. The camera can operate in one of four modes: IR mode – provides discreet monitoring in darkness without visible light, White light mode – activated to obtain color images and deter intruders, Smart Mode – automatic switching between IR and white light in response to detecting people or vehicles, Off mode – no auxiliary lighting. Thanks to this solution, Hikvision cameras offer more effective night monitoring, clearer images in difficult lighting conditions and greater operational flexibility. Hikvision's AcuSense technology is an advanced AI-based solution used for intelligent image analysis in surveillance systems. The main advantages of AcuSense are: Human and vehicle recognition – the system distinguishes people and vehicles from other objects such as leaves, rain or animals, significantly reducing the number of false alarms. Fast recording search – thanks to object classification, recordings can be searched instantly by object type (person/vehicle). Active perimeter protection – upon detecting an intruder, the device can react immediately (e.g. light or sound signal). WDR 120 dB (Wide Dynamic Range) technology allows cameras to better handle difficult lighting conditions, e.g. when a scene contains very bright and very dark areas at the same time. Thanks to the 120 dB wide dynamic range, the camera can capture more detail in both shadows and bright parts of the image, resulting in clearer and more balanced recordings – especially at building entrances, in tunnels or with strong backlight behind an object. An intelligent algorithm independently developed by Hikvision that can significantly reduce video bitrate based on the standard H.265 codec. With H.265+, video quality almost matches H.265/HEVC quality but reduces the required transmission bandwidth and storage capacity, thanks to three key technologies - predictive coding, noise suppression and flexible bitrate control. The surveillance camera is equipped with an integrated microphone that allows audio recording without the need to connect additional devices. This element is located in the device housing. This makes it possible to collect acoustic signals from the surroundings, which enriches the video material with sound context. This type of solution works in various situations, for example when analyzing conversations, recording sounds near a protected area or documenting incidents with an additional layer of information. The IP67 rating means that the device is fully protected against dust and is resistant to water under normal use conditions. Thanks to water and dust resistance (IP67), the cameras can operate reliably even in harsh outdoor conditions, providing continuous protection and surveillance regardless of weather or surroundings.
