Motion sensor 300 W ceiling-mounted - DR-07 PurposeThe motion sensor is designed to automatically, temporarily turn on lighting when a person or other object appears in certain areas, such as corridors, yards, entrances and driveways, garages, etc. OperationThe sensor detects infrared radiation sources. It analyzes parameters such as the object's size, the amount of heat emitted and the speed of movement between individual detection sectors. Movement in the detection field automatically turns on the lighting. From the moment of activation, continuous movement keeps the lighting on. Only when movement disappears from the detection field does the lighting hold time trigger. Repeated movement in the detection field and its disappearance restarts the hold time from the beginning. The mode of operation allows DR-07 to be used as a presence sensor. The motion sensor has a twilight automation that prevents the controlled lighting from turning on during the day. The detection state and readiness to turn on the lighting are activated only after dusk. The sensor activation time can be adjusted by the user with a potentiometer. Additionally, there is the possibility to adjust the detection field area with a 1-4 m radius (when h = 2.5-3.5 m) and activation time adjustment 3 s - 9 min. Temperature changes can affect motion detection. The motion sensor can operate indoors and outdoors in locations where it is not exposed to direct rain or snow precipitation and possible splashing of water or other liquid on the sensor housing and its electrical connection points.
