Security control
Hub 2 manages all Ajax devices in the system and alerts users about open doors, broken windows, fire and flood threats. If intruders break into the facility, Hub 2 will notify the video surveillance system and send photos from MotionCam detectors. Convenience
Hub 2 works with MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor motion sensors. When the detectors are triggered, they take several photos. This helps assess the situation. Always connected - via cable and mobile network
Connection with the outside world is very important for the security system control panel. Its reliability and stability ensure the possibility of timely transmission of the alarm signal to the security company and users.
Hub 2 can be connected simultaneously to three internet service providers - via Ethernet cable and 2G, 3G and LTE networks. Automatic switching between channels takes a few seconds.
Guaranteed alarm transmission and visual alarm verification
To ensure reliable communication, Hub 2 is equipped with four antennas and supports two patented radio communication protocols: Jeweller and Wings. Jeweller is responsible for transmitting commands, events and alarms, while Wings ensures photo transmission in groups. Ajax two-way radio communication uses frames to synchronize device communication sessions, authentication to prevent forgery, and encryption to protect against data theft.
Flexibility
Hub 2 radio communication covers several floors and separate buildings - thanks to a 2,000 meter communication range and the ability to connect five range extenders. To manage facility access and security zoning, 50 users can be connected to the hub and 9 security groups can be created. Hub 2 is an excellent choice for home and business security.
Can be managed using the app
Control buttons on the control panel body and archaic interfaces have been abandoned - apps are more convenient and reliable. They connect to the controller via a secure channel through the Ajax Cloud server located in multiple AWS data centers. Server availability in 2021 was 99.995%.

Automated security
Hub 2 allows creating 32 scenarios and reducing the influence of the human role on security. The controller can arm and disarm the security system or a group of devices according to a schedule. Dim the rooms and turn on emergency lighting in case of fire. Or shut off the water in case of leakage. Control lighting, electric locks, blinds and garage doors - by turning a device on/off, pressing a button or a detector alarm.
Resilience
Whatever happens to Hub 2, the security company and users will be notified. No one can unnoticed disconnect the central device when the building is locked. If an intruder tries to dismantle the device, an alarm will be triggered immediately. The Ajax Cloud server can report loss of connection with the hub within 60 seconds. Even if the power is cut off in the building, the device, using the built-in backup battery, will protect the facility or building for up to 16 hours.
Operating system
Hub 2 runs on the real-time operating system OS Malevich created by Ajax Systems. OS Malevich is extremely stable, resistant to viruses and protected against cyber attacks. The modular architecture simplifies continuous updating of OS Malevich.
Several times a year the device receives new functions with over-the-air updates. The update process is automatic and takes a few minutes when the security system is disarmed. The hardware configuration will allow Hub 2 to evolve and remain relevant for many years.
