The housing contains a silicone gasket, is fastened with strong screws, and the switch located on the device is protected with a silicone cap. The device uses strong piezoelectric speakers made of brass, which are additionally protected by a grille. Piezoelectric speakers made of brass are characterized by enormous resistance to factors such as low and high temperatures and moisture. Ordinary black membrane speakers used in other devices are structurally prone to damage and can cause short circuits in the installation. Additionally, the lack of grilles in this type of device exposes the equipment to accidental mechanical damage.
A strong neodymium magnet placed in the rear part of the housing is perfect for attaching the repellent to any metal surface (gutter, fence, windowsill, roof fitting, shelving, radiator, etc.).
Additionally, the set includes a metal plate with holes, which can be screwed to any surface using the included screws and then the repellent can be attached to it. In this way, the device can be mounted to fascia boards, wooden pillars, wooden pergolas, etc.
