With every swing, you'll feel the refined motion quality and advanced ergonomics of the 'Fiskars X-series™' axe.X36splitting axe with L-size blades works with your body, masterfully balanced to optimize strike speed and amplify power, allowing you to make more splits per strike. Innovative, extremely sharp forged steel blades are designed to disperse wood more effectively and are double-ground to maintain a sharp, precisely ground edge. Specially designed blades with wider blades and a splitting wedge provide more power and facilitate blade removal from wood. Low-friction coating helps blades slide through wood after impact and provides additional rust protection. The overmolded axe head is inseparably joined to the handle. 'X-series' axes are of a virtually unbreakable design, including a lightweight, exceptionally strong 'FiberComp™' handle that absorbs shocks and provides excellent impact protection. The handle also features a large, textured 'SoftGrip™' grip zone in the right places and a hook-shaped end for secure and safe handling before, during, and after the strike.
