The "Fenix E20 V2.0" flashlight body is made from textured aluminum, treated with the HA-III hard anodizing process, making the flashlight tube and head resistant to scratches, abrasion, and mechanical damage.

Reducing the flashlight's dimensions by 27 mm made it more comfortable and convenient to use. After modernization, the flashlight weighs only 42 g, i.e., about the same as an 18650 battery.

Textured aluminum surface improves grip and prevents the flashlight from slipping from the hand. The flashlight is controlled by rear switches for turning on the light and changing modes. Removable steel clip allows the flashlight to be attached to a belt, pocket, or backpack.
