The Raspberry Pi has two microHDMI connectors, through which you can send both image and sound in resolutions up to 4K. In addition, the board has a 4-pin 3.5 mm jack, to which you can connect headphones, speakers or output video via the RCA Composite standard. The device supports H265 (4Kp60), H.264 (1080p30) compression and OpenGL ES 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 graphics.
Raspberry Operating System
The Raspberry drive is still a microSD memory card. The operating system can be loaded using a computer with a reader. Cards with the NOOBs program installed are offered in our store, which allows you to choose from the following systems on first boot: Raspberry Pi OS, Openelec, RaspBMC, OSMC Linux.
Connection using Raspberry Pi 4
The Raspberry has the basic communication interfaces found on PC-class office computers. In addition to the aforementioned audio and video connectors, the user can use:
- 2 microHDMI connectors, through which two monitors can be connected simultaneously.
2 USB 3.0 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports, to which you can connect, for example, a mouse, keyboard, WiFi card or pendrive. If it turns out that there are too few sockets, you can increase their number using an external USB HUB.
Ethernet socket, i.e. the ability to connect directly to the LAN network, now at Gigabit speed.
- WiFi module – allows communication with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11b/g/n/ac wireless networks – the latest Raspbian / NOOBs system has built-in drivers
- Bluetooth 5 module – allows data transfer via the popular interface
