UNI-T UT383 light meter

UNI-T UT383 is a lightweight and convenient digital lux meter designed to measure light intensity in lux and Fc units. With a wide measurement range and fast response time, it will be useful both in professional work, such as design offices, industrial companies, photo studios, and in everyday use at home, school or gardening. The meter stands out for its simple operation and easily readable backlit display.

Wide measurement range

UT383 can measure light intensity from 0 to 199,900 lux or from 0 to 18,500 Fc. Automatic resolution switching is available at different brightness levels – from 1 lux to 100 lux and from 1 Fc to 10 Fc, depending on the range. Measurement accuracy reaches ±(4% + 8) at lower values and ±(5% + 10) at higher values, allowing precise control of lighting conditions in work, public and private spaces.

Efficient operation

The sampling time is only 0.5 seconds, so you get the latest data almost instantly. MAX/MIN functions allow tracking extreme values, and the data hold option lets you keep the current result on the screen. Additional conveniences include automatic shutdown after a period of inactivity, an overload (OL) signal and a low battery indicator.

Clear display and lightweight design

The meter has a 32 × 26 mm LCD display with backlight, which ensures good readability even in poor ambient lighting. The entire device weighs only 118 g. Thanks to its compact size (160 × 50 × 28 mm), the UT383 can be conveniently carried in a pocket, bag or tool case.
