TP-Link Ermenrich NetGeeks NU30 Optical Multimeter

Ermenrich NetGeeks NU30 is an optical multimeter with VFL function that will become an essential tool for a specialist working with the design, laying, and installation of fiber optic communication lines. With this device, you can measure the output power of a fiber optic system source, measure the optical power loss of a cable, and detect and locate breaks. The device is suitable for home and professional use.

The device supports six wavelengths and has FC, SC, and ST connectors. For more accurate attenuation measurement, there is the ability to set a reference level: this allows automatic calculation of the difference between the input signal power and the output signal power. There is a VFL function with pulse and continuous operating modes. It is used to detect faulty cables or to find a specific cable. When the option is activated, the device starts operating in transmitter mode at a wavelength of 650 nm. If a fault is detected, it will be indicated by a red indicator.

The device is compact and easy to use. The device is powered by three standard batteries.

Key features:

• Power measurement: absolute and relative (loss)
• Selectable measurement units, ability to set a reference level
• Supports six wavelengths, three types of connectors – FC, SC, and ST
• Visual fault locator (VFL function)
• Battery-powered; auto-off function

The kit includes:

• Transmitter
• Case
