MAGUS Bio 240T ir studentu bioloģiskais mikroskops, paredzēts darbam gaišajā laukā un pētījumiem izstarotajā gaismā. Modelim ir vairākas funkcijas: tam ir kodēts revolvers, kas “atceras” katra objektīva apgaismojuma iestatījumus; iebūvēts šķidro kristālu monitors izvēlēto iestatījumu parādīšanai un trīs okulāru vizuālais papildinājums ar atsevišķu cauruli digitālajai kamerai.
Visual attachment with 360° rotating tubes for mounting two eyepieces and a digital camera. Light flow is split 100/0 or 0/100. The microscope set includes two 10x/20 mm eyepieces. Optics are designed for infinity. For easier work with glasses, the eyepieces feature flat eyepieces. They protect the optics from scratches and damage that may occur from accidental impact. Short-sighted and long-sighted users can adjust image sharpness in the tubes.
The revolver has 4 slots for lenses and is in a 'away from the user' position—the working objective is facing the user, while the others point in the opposite direction. This position creates free space in front of the user. The revolver is encoded—illumination brightness is adjusted for each lens and restored when changing magnification. This is convenient because lenses transmit different amounts of light, and when the revolver is turned and the objective is changed, the eyepiece illumination brightness changes. As a result, eyes tire, and the user spends time adjusting illumination each time. Smart illumination maintains the selected brightness and automatically switches it when you turn the revolver.
Focusing is done using co-axial handles on both sides of the microscope: there is coarse and fine adjustment. Additionally, the microscope has a coarse focus locking handle needed when changing lenses, and a coarse focus stroke adjustment ring: the user can adjust the stroke stiffness according to their needs. All handles are at a comfortable height: the user manipulates them with hands on the table and performs examinations in a comfortable position.
The object stage does not have a retractable stand along the X-axis. The specimen is moved using a belt drive mechanism, movements are smooth. The specimen holder is attached to two mounting parts and, if needed, can be easily disassembled.
An Abbe condenser is mounted under the stage. At the factory, it is fixed in height and centered along the optical axis, so you don't need to worry about accidentally moving it out of place. Colored marks are placed on the condenser ring: using the condenser handle, you can adjust the diaphragm aperture to match the objective with a specific magnification and obtain a contrasting image. The condenser's numerical aperture is 1.25.
For specimen illumination, the MAGUS Bio 240T model uses a 3-watt LED light. You can choose the desired color temperature from 3000 K to 7000 K. Temperature settings are easily changed. The LED is designed for 50,000 working hours.
You can review all selected settings on the integrated screen: illumination brightness and color temperature, objective magnification, and operating mode are displayed. Illumination settings, as well as operating modes, are set using two handles.
The microscope is lightweight, compact in size, and has a functional design. It can be carried and moved by the handles, which are the tripod. Cables and the network adapter are hidden in the back wall of the microscope.
