S series
The S series consists of both roof and porro prism models with > 40 mm objectives, so personal preferences are immediately defined. In addition to newly developed light-transmitting coatings, the waterproof porro prism models also feature a hydrophobic coating that ensures a contrasting and bright image even in adverse outdoor conditions.

This series offers many features of much more expensive binoculars and exceptional value. Solid style with a fully rubber body, including an especially large central focus wheel. They feature exceptional optical properties, including high-quality BaK4 prisms.

New, fully multi-coated optics
Fully multi-coated lenses perform the main function – to maximize the amount of light passing through the objective, thus avoiding flares and shadows that interfere with the image. PENTAX applies multiple coating layers to every element and prism surface across the entire Sport Optics line. These fully multi-coated optical lenses ensure maximum light transmission, so the view of the world is clear and bright.

BaK4 prisms
Due to its excellent refractive index, the BaK4 glass prism used in all PENTAX Sport Optics products is highly valued for its perfectly round exit pupil and clear, vignette-free image.

Outer rubber coating
