A series
The A series consists of models with roof and porro prisms with objective lengths < 40 mm. Thanks to the same advanced coatings, this series is considered the compact, portable, and durable smaller sibling of the S series, thus delivering flawless image quality. Users can enjoy convenient mobility without compromising optical performance.

Thanks to new, fully multi-coated lenses, phase correction, BaK4 prism, and a new improved light transmission coating, these binoculars deliver crystal-clear images and excellent contrast. They have all the quality features characteristic of all PENTAX roof prism range models: internal focusing, water and dust resistance, nitrogen-filled, fully rubber-coated body, focusing wheel, and rotating eyecup covers for convenient control and easy focusing. With a modern design, compactness, and high performance, they provide exceptional viewing pleasure.

New, fully multi-coated optics
Fully multi-coated lenses perform the main function – to maximize the amount of light passing through the objective, thus avoiding flares and shadows that interfere with the image. PENTAX applies multiple coating layers to each element and prism surface across the entire Sport Optics line. These fully multi-coated optical lenses ensure maximum light transmission, so the view of the world is clear and bright.

New improved light transmission coatings
PENTAX binoculars take quality optics to the next level by applying a new, optimized film deposition technology to lens and prism surfaces, which increases light transmission and creates bright images with accurate color reproduction.

BaK4 prisms
Thanks to its excellent refractive index, the BaK4 glass prism used in all PENTAX Sport Optics products is highly valued for its perfectly round exit pupil and clear, vignette-free image.

Phase correction
The complex optical design of roof prism binoculars ensures a durable, compact yet lightweight design, but requires a higher level of optical perfection. All roof prism binoculars use phase correction coating to maximize image viewing quality.

PENTAX waterproofing
PENTAX waterproof products are fully sealed and purged with laboratory-grade nitrogen to ensure a fog-free image even in the harshest weather conditions. With a JIS Class 6 rating, PENTAX waterproof binoculars can be submerged in water up to 3 feet deep.

Internal focusing optical design

Azotas yra cheminis elementas ir bespalvės, bekvapės bei beskonės dujos. Jame yra labai mažai drėgmės, todėl jis naudojamas žiūronams ir stebėjimo teleskopams „išvalyti“ nuo didelės drėgmės, kuri yra mūsų aplinkos dalis. Dėl mažo drėgmės koeficiento azotas neleidžia kondensuotis ant optinių prietaisų vidinių lęšių greitų temperatūros pokyčių fazėse. Be to, kadangi azotas į optinį prietaisą įleidžiamas šiek tiek aukštesnėje nei atmosferos temperatūroje
Į korpusą nepatenka slėgis, dulkės ir kitos smulkios dalelės.
