Vortex Razor UHD 10x42 – an excellent binocular for hunters and tourists, opening a new era of observation. Bright, clear and colorful image, ideal for nature observation. Thanks to carefully selected prisms and low-dispersion UHD (Ultra High Density) optics, the image is crystal clear, exceptionally bright and extremely detailed. The optical system is built on large Abbe-Koenig prisms and advanced XR Plus anti-reflective coatings applied to all air-glass surfaces. This ensures that even in low light the image is bright, clear and full of detail. The UHD system has a longer optical path, ensuring a sharp and contrasting image across the entire field of view. Coating durability is ensured by Plasma Tech – a plasma coating application process. Unlike coatings used in cheaper binoculars, the dielectric coating increases the light reflectance, making the image sharper and more natural. The binocular also features phase correction, responsible for increasing visible image contrast and optical resolution, and APO lenses with chromatic aberration correction across the entire visible spectrum. The Razor UHD binocular has a sturdy and lightweight magnesium alloy body, protected from external factors by a rubber armor with non-slip texture. The optics are filled with argon, which prevents lenses from fogging in high-humidity environments or with rapid temperature changes. Unlike the commonly used nitrogen, argon is a much heavier gas, which prevents it from dissipating from inside the binocular.
