Sigma 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS | Contemporary

An impressive reach in a relatively compact Leica L-mount 100–400mm f/5–6.3 DG DN OS lens from Sigma is a versatile telephoto zoom that combines a handheld design with appropriate optical performance. A series of low-dispersion glass elements is used to achieve high clarity and color accuracy throughout the zoom range and to suppress chromatic aberrations and color fringing. The optics are complemented by intuitive control, where a stepping motor ensures fast, almost silent autofocus along with precisely adjusted manual focus control. Additionally, four-stop optical image stabilization helps reduce camera shake for sharper handheld photography, and this 100–400mm is also compatible with the optional tripod socket TS-111 for stable shooting on a tripod or monopod.

• This lens, part of the Sigma Global Vision series' Contemporary line, is designed to balance comfort and performance, featuring a compact, lightweight body and versatile control with notable optical properties.
• The telephoto zoom is designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras, but can also work with APS-C models, where it provides a 150–600mm equivalent focal length range.
• One F Low Dispersion (FLD) element and four Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements significantly reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing throughout the zoom range to enhance clarity and color accuracy.
• Optical image stabilization compensates for up to four stops of camera shake to enable sharp images when shooting handheld at slower shutter speeds.
• The integrated stepping motor ensures fast and silent autofocus, further complemented by an optimized AF algorithm for smoother focusing.
• At the 100mm end of the zoom range, a minimum focusing distance of 3.7 inches is possible, while at 400mm it is 5.2 inches, with a maximum magnification of 1:4.1.
• A rounded 9-blade diaphragm ensures pleasant bokeh quality.
• A brass bayonet mount ensures greater mounting precision and durability, and the mount construction includes a rubber seal to make it dust- and splash-resistant.
• Compatible with the optional TS-111 tripod socket for use on a tripod or monopod; the included PT-31 protective cap can be attached to the lens to maintain a seamless appearance if the tripod socket is not used.
• Compatible with optional Sigma TC-1411 1.4x and TC-2011 2x teleconverters.
• Šī lēca ir saderīga ar izvēles Sigma UD-11 USB dokstaciju, lai precīzi regulētu dažādas lēcas raksturlielumus un atjauninātu tās programmatūru.
