Apraksts
Compact, lightweight, and with exceptional image quality – the Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN Z-mount medium-telephoto lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras allows you to experience the pleasure of shooting with F1.4 brightness.
THE SMALLEST MEDIUM-TELEPHOTO LENS IN ITS CLASS
The first in this series is the standard 30mm F1.4 DC DN lens, the second is the wide-angle 16mm F1.4 DC DN 'Contemporary' lens. The third addition is this smallest medium-telephoto lens in its class, the 56mm F1.4 DC DN 'Contemporary'. Maintaining the concepts of compactness, lightness, and exceptional image quality, thanks to advanced SIGMA technology, this lens delivers the bokeh effect and stunning sharpness expected from F1.4 lenses even in the medium-telephoto range. This addition completes the large-aperture series consisting of portable wide-angle, standard, and telephoto lenses.A HIGH-PERFORMANCE 'CONTEMPORARY' LINE LENS WITH LATEST SIGMA TECHNOLOGIES
Smooth AF is ideal for video recording. The combination of video AF optical design and stepping motor use ensures smooth and silent autofocus. Using the camera's face detection or eye AF functions, focus will remain locked on the face or eyes even if the subject moves during shooting. High precision is ensured by a robust brass bayonet mount. Its treated surface and increased strength contribute to the lens's exceptional durability.
IMPRESSIVELY COMPACT CONSTRUCTION
To achieve an extremely compact construction, the lens design is based on the camera body's ability to adjust peripheral light amount and distortions. Additionally, axial chromatic aberration, which is difficult to remove through image processing, is effectively corrected using an SLD glass element. This ensures a compact and lightweight construction along with excellent image quality.DESIGNED TO REDUCE FLARE AND GHOSTING
From the early stages of the lens design process, flare and ghosting were measured to create an optical construction resistant to strong incident light sources, such as backlighting. SIGMA Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting to help photographers create sharp, high-contrast images even with backlighting. The included lens hood can be attached to block stray light that may negatively affect image rendering.
EXCELLENT BOKEH EFFECT
The lens features a wide F1.4 aperture to achieve sufficient bokeh effect and stunning sharpness even when using APS-C size cameras, which typically have smaller bokeh effects compared to 35mm full-frame systems. The compact and lightweight body is perfect for everyday use, allowing easy photography of various scenes—from portraits to snapshots, as well as night scenes.
