The standard α6700 sensitivity ranges from as low as ISO 100 to ISO 32000⁴ and features a wide dynamic range, allowing natural gradations to be captured in high-contrast scenes without blown-out highlights or crushed shadows.

Consistently accurate exposure and colors

The α6700 offers impressive exposure control. It incorporates a new AE algorithm, initially developed for full-frame models, which allows precise determination of facial skin areas and corresponding adjustment of exposure during photography and filming. Additionally, it can maintain realistic colors under various light sources—from sunlight to theater and stadium lighting—and extract more natural skin tones, sky, and foliage colors.
