Hoya 72 mm variable optical density filter excellently controls exposure settings, as it can change the amount of light entering the camera by 1.5–9 stops. The precise integrated dual-ring design allows rotating the outer ring to adjust the neutral density effect from 1.5 to 9. The dual-ring construction is thin to reduce the likelihood of vignetting when using wide-angle lenses. This filter allows the use of many special effects, such as controlling depth of field using a wider aperture or creating or controlling motion blur, as you can select the appropriate shutter speed to achieve perfect blur.
