Universal purpose cable: for outdoor-indoor work with non-metallic rodent protection and LSOH sheath. Universal cables can be laid in sewers, pipes, cable conduits or directly in the ground, in places where there is no risk of direct mechanical impact. Multimode (MM - Multi Mode) 50/125 μm cables are used for shorter distance transmission: local telecommunications, computer, backbone networks, CATV, FTTx. Sheath color: turquoise. In the cable, optical fibers are protected from moisture using a swelling water-absorbing material, and from rodents by glass fibers. Flame-retardant B2ca sheath tested and complies with CPR 305/2011 regulation, meets strict safety requirements (hospitals) and is perfectly suited for use in buildings with high safety requirements (public buildings and offices).
