The 'EK-Quantum Torque 6-Pack STC 12/16' is a fitting set containing six EK-Torque STC fittings. These are high-quality EK 12/16 mm (ID/OD) soft tube compression fittings designed for use with various types of flexible soft tubing such as PVC, EPDM, Norprene, silicone, or any other compatible flexible tubing. They appear discreet but are impressive and without any additional branding. They can be enhanced with interchangeable aesthetic colored rings, making them an ideal choice for everyone and perfectly matching EK-Quantum series products. The locking ring compresses the tube wall under the ring, so the flexible tube does not come off the fitting barb. External grooves allow for easier hand tightening. The compression ring features EK Quantum's signature cutouts, allowing the colored aesthetic ring to be visible. The colored rings come in various colors and are screwed onto the fitting before the compression locking ring. Aesthetic rings are sold separately. EK-Quantum Torque series products have received the prestigious iF Design Award. Solid and industrial aesthetics distinguish the Torque family, highlighting the precise manufacturing processes used to create them. Additionally, enthusiasts can add a unique colored ring to give a personal touch to the fitting line. The Torque fitting family offers a secure and modular connection system between liquid cooling components and tubing in a computer. Quantum Torque series products include angled adapters, rotary and static extensions, distributors, G1/4" plugs, drain valves, fittings, and much more. The fitting barb and compression rings are coated with a unique, high-quality nickel finish. Both are made from CNC-machined brass, and the seal is made from quality rubber O-rings. The base fitting surface is smooth and lacks a proper gripping surface, but inside the barb is an 8 mm hex (Allen) key. Please do not use excessive force when tightening fittings with barbs using an 8 mm hex key to avoid damaging other liquid cooling products! We recommend using the EK-Loop multifunction hex key (6 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm), which is designed to break if excessive force is applied, thus protecting more expensive loop components from damage. Compatibility of these fittings with all other EK Water Blocks liquid cooling products is guaranteed.
