Low-voltage gas capacitor MKG with temperature sensor – KG_MKG-5-400. The cylindrical body ensures minimal dimensions and excellent conditions for heat exchange with the environment. Nitrogen (N2) insulation poses no danger, as it is a component of air in case of body leakage. The capacitor has a temperature sensor with a normally closed switch (NC), which opens at +60 degrees C. This is additional protection for the capacitor and capacitor banks when the ambient temperature rises too much. The capacitor's service life reaches up to 120,000 hours. In case of body leakage, the capacitor can operate for up to another 15,000 hours. All materials used in capacitor production are safe and do not contain PCBs. MKG capacitors do not need to be disposed of; they can be handed in as metal scrap.
