"Connect 620 UHD 2.0" allows up to 4 devices to be connected to a TV with one cable. The UHD 2.0 range is suitable for connections with the very latest Ultra HD equipment, provided they have HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 protection.HDMI 2.0 The main improvement of HDMI 2.0 compared to HDMI 1.4 is higher bandwidth (higher data transfer rate), enabling 4K at a higher frame rate and HDR. The amount of data sent is increased from 10.2 Gbps to 18 Gbps. This allows 4K to be displayed at 50–60 frames per second, 4:4:4 and HDR. HDMI 2.0 also supports a wider color range (12-bit instead of 8-bit) and dual view.HDCP 2.2 4K Ultra HD content is increasingly becoming the standard. Due to this evolution of digital video technology, the current copy protection HDCP has become HDCP 2.2. To play the latest Ultra HD content (4K movies or broadcasts) in the best video quality, all AV equipment in the same chain must support this HDCP 2.2 protection. So this applies not only to the source and your TV. If, for example, you route the HDMI signal through an HDMI switch, splitter, AV receiver or soundbar, they must all also be HDCP 2.2 compatible. If not, the material will not be shown at the maximum possible resolution (1080p instead of 4K) + corresponding video quality OR sometimes will not be shown at all.Well prepared Marmitek UHD 2.0 switching equipment allows you to avoid these (future) problems and make full use of the capabilities of (existing) equipment. This range is compatible with HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2, making it the best solution for connecting HDMI devices and TVs.
