The GMKtec K8 Plus is a compact, high-end mini personal computer (PC) that combines high computing performance, mobility, and functionality. It features an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS 8-core processor with a clock speed of up to 5.1 GHz, integrated Radeon 780M graphics, and extremely fast DDR5 (Double Data Rate 5, fifth-generation memory) 5600 MHz RAM (Random Access Memory), ensuring smooth operation in office, graphics, multimedia, and software applications. It also has a high-speed SSD (Solid State Drive), NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express – a high-speed interface for SSDs), PCIe 4.0 (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express – a high-speed bus for connecting components) with 1 TB capacity, and Windows 11 Pro, so it is ready to use right away. The device supports up to four displays at 8K resolution, WiFi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, and has multiple ports. All of this in a compact chassis with quiet and efficient active cooling.

High processor performance

The AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor uses a 4 nm architecture, offers 8 cores and 16 threads, and reaches clock speeds of up to 5.1 GHz. With 16 MB L3 cache and 54 W TDP (thermal design power), it delivers stable computing power even under heavy load. In Geekbench tests, it performs better than many higher-class models, offering +24% single-thread performance and +27% multi-thread performance.

Integrated Radeon graphics

The AMD Radeon 780M graphics card with a 2800 MHz clock speed supports multiple monitors and ensures smooth operation when editing graphics, streaming, and playing less demanding games. With this card, the device remains energy-efficient and compact, without requiring a separate GPU (graphics processing unit).

Ultra-fast USB 4.0 interface

Two USB-C 4.0 (Universal Serial Bus) ports support data transfer up to 40 Gbps, charging via Power Delivery, and data and audio/video (DisplayPort) signals. This allows you to connect modern 4K monitors, high-speed external drives, or use a single cable for power and data transfer – with full DP Alt Mode support. In addition, the computer has an OcuLink port (PCIe 4.0 ×4), allowing connection of an external graphics card (eGPU). Note: the interface does not support hot-swapping, so devices must be connected when the computer is turned off.

Support for up to four displays

The GMKtec K8 Plus Mini PC allows connecting up to four displays simultaneously via HDMI 2.1 (High-Definition Multimedia Interface, a high-definition digital audio and video interface), DisplayPort 2.1, and two USB 4.0. All ports support 8K resolution at 60 Hz, so you can build a large workstation or presentation stand while keeping the device itself compact.

Dual-channel DDR5 memory

The installed 32 GB 5600 MHz DDR5 RAM in two SO-DIMM (Small Outline Dual In-line Memory Module, a compact memory module) slots ensures high bandwidth and stable performance. The device supports up to 96 GB of memory, so it is also suitable for virtual machines, video editing, and large graphics projects.

Fast and spacious SSD

The computer has two M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 drive slots supporting up to 8 TB of total space. The installed 1 TB drive guarantees high read and write speeds, which shortens system, application, and file launch times and supports fast transfer when working with large data sets.

Stable connection

Two RJ45 2.5G LAN (local area network) ports based on the Intel i225V chipset ensure stable transfer speeds of up to 2500 Mbps, significantly increasing efficiency when working with servers, databases, or streaming data. The ports support 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps speeds and allow establishing a classic network connection. In addition, the mini PC supports wireless WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

Efficient active cooling

The new-generation Hyper Ice Chamber 2.0 cooling system consists of two quiet fans (top and bottom), a heatsink, and heat pipes. Cooling is optimized for SSDs and RAM. 35 W / 54 W / 65 W / 70 W modes allow you to adjust performance and noise level according to your current needs.

Compact design

Dimensions of just 13.2 × 13 × 5.9 cm and VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association – monitor mounting standard) support allow the GMKtec K8 Plus mini PC to be easily placed behind a monitor or in a laptop bag.
