The GMKtec K12 Mini PC runs on a specially designed AMD Ryzen 7 H255 processor that surpasses the performance of the Ryzen 7 8745HS model. The eight-core, sixteen-thread device with a clock speed of up to 4.9 GHz and 16 MB cache easily handles multitasking and compute-intensive workloads. The TDP range from 35 to 54 watts ensures an excellent balance of performance and energy efficiency. The device comes with Windows 11 Pro installed. It is also compatible with Linux.

Impressive performance with Ryzen 7 H255

High computing power is provided by the AMD Ryzen 7 H255 processor, whose performance surpasses the Ryzen 7 8745HS, 7840HS and 6800H models. Eight cores and sixteen threads with a clock speed of up to 4.9 GHz and 16 MB of cache memory guarantee smooth operation of complex programs and multitasking without performance degradation. The chip is manufactured using TSMC 4 nm lithography, and with a 54-watt TDP, the computer offers stable operation even under heavy load.

The new Wi-Fi standard ensures speeds of up to 2500 Mbps, 37% higher than Wi-Fi 6, which means lightning-fast data transfer and low latency when playing online games. On the other hand, Bluetooth 5.2 works 2.5 times faster than version 4.2, guaranteeing a stable connection with peripheral devices such as headphones, keyboards and controllers.

The GMKtec K12 design is created for easy upgrades and maximum flexibility. Easily accessible components allow instant expansion of the computer's capabilities by installing up to three M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSDs with a total capacity of up to 24 TB (maximum 8 TB per slot). In addition, two DDR5 5600 MHz SO-DIMM slots support up to 128 GB RAM (maximum 64 GB per slot), so you can adapt the configuration for the most demanding programs – from working with large files to complex graphics and computing projects.

The heat dissipation system combines two fans with a copper base to ensure stable operation for up to 72 hours under a 70 W TDP load. The convection airflow design increases cooling efficiency by as much as 200% compared to classic tower computers, while the case is only 1/50 of their size. Smart system fans and thoughtful airflow distribution maintain optimal component temperature, while RGB backlighting provides a modern and impressive accent. Depending on the task at hand, the GMKtec K12 allows smooth switching between three operating modes, offering the perfect balance of quietness, temperature and performance. In quiet mode (35–40 W TDP), the computer operates almost silently, in balanced mode (54–60 W TDP) stable power is ensured for everyday tasks, and in performance mode (65–70 W TDP) the full potential of the processor is utilized in games and system-demanding programs.
