With Ledger Recovery Key

New Ledger Recovery Key– is an additional, modern, convenient, and secure way to store your recovery phrase in a physical, but technological format. It is especially useful if you want speed and comfort when restoring access to your cryptocurrencies. But remember: you must still store the main backup (recovery phrase) yourself – in paper or metal Recovery Sheet form, as without it, recovery depends solely on the card and PIN.

Personal backup card, on whichyour 24-word Secret Recovery Phrase (SRP) – i.e., recovery phrase – is storedon a PIN-protected Secure Element chip

The card workscompletely offline, and data transfer to another Ledger device is performedvia NFC(tap and go).

Security is ensuredby a Secure Element chip, on which information is encrypted, and access is only possible with a PIN code.

If the PIN is entered incorrectly three times, the card automatically erases itself – this is an additional security measure.

The Ledger Recovery Key is not intended to replace the traditional paper Recovery Sheet – it is an additional, more convenient, and secure backup tool.
