Revopoint Marker Block Kit

The Revopoint reference block kit is a practical solution that significantly improves 3D scanning accuracy and stability. By using markers of specific dimensions and different geometries, the scanner obtains more reference points, which means better object tracking and more accurate alignment of consecutive frames. In practice, this means fewer errors, fewer corrections, and a more predictable final result, especially when scanning flat, symmetrical, or featureless surfaces.

Higher accuracy thanks to more reference points

Each type of marker in the kit has a specific size and point layout, so the scanner can more easily recognize its position in space. Larger elements, such as pyramid-shaped markers (67 × 55 mm), are clearly visible even from a greater distance, making them ideal for larger objects. Smaller markers – spherical (30 mm) and dome-shaped (41 × 22 mm) – allow precise capture of details when scanning close-up shots. This lets you adapt your workflow to a specific project.

Different marker types = greater flexibility

The kit includes point, spatial, and linear markers. Spheres and domes allow you to quickly create a grid of reference points around an object, pyramids stabilize tracking in more complex conditions, and marker strips (205 mm long) help with elongated elements or those that need to preserve an axis. Additional adhesive markers (6 mm / 10 mm) allow denser point coverage where even greater accuracy is required.

Magnetic mounting and stability

Spherical, dome-shaped, and pyramid-shaped markers have 8 mm diameter magnets. This allows them to be quickly and securely attached to metal surfaces without additional fasteners. Stable mounting reduces the risk of markers shifting during operation, which directly affects scan quality.

Compatibility and application

The kit is compatible with most Revopoint 3D scanners, including POP, POP 2, POP 3, RANGE, RANGE 2, INSPIRE, MIRACO, MIRACO Pro, and MetroX series (including laser modes). It is ideal for both quick overview scanning and precise engineering projects where alignment accuracy and tracking stability are critical.
