Četri neatkarīgi kanāli un dubultās pārnesumkārbas

The feeding system uses dual gearboxes made of hardened steel and four separate 42-type stepper motors – one for each channel. The design is suited to both popular filaments and more demanding composite materials reinforced with carbon or glass fiber. QIDI Box supports, among others, PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PET, PA, PC, PVA and BVOH (after drying), PP, POM, HIPS, TPU 64D and certain CF and GF materials.

Drying up to 65°C and moisture control

QIDI Box allows simultaneous filament drying and printing, and the maximum drying temperature is 65°C. The hermetic storage compartment together with the option to use a desiccant helps reduce the effect of moisture on the filament, which is especially important for hygroscopic materials. Temperature and humidity are monitored in real time, and their values can be checked on the screen and in the QIDI Studio software.

Automatic spool change and problem detection

The automatic filament replenishment function allows the printer to switch to a backup spool when the currently used material runs out. This function reduces the risk of unnecessarily interrupting long print jobs and allows more efficient use of the remaining material on spools. The system also monitors for filament shortage, tangling and clogging, so it can respond appropriately to proper filament feeding problems.

NFC and printing with support materials

NFC support allows automatic recognition of compatible QIDI filaments and adjustment of their settings without the need to manually enter parameters. The multi-material design of QIDI Box also allows the use of a separate support filament, including materials designed for easy breaking off or dissolving, which facilitates printing models with more complex geometry. However, in the case of PVA and BVOH, the material must be properly dried before use.

Compatibility and safety measures

Not every 1.75 mm filament is compatible with QIDI Box. Among others, the system does not support TPE, standard TPU, TPU 95A, QIDI PAHT-CF, damp PVA and BVOH, certain Silk materials (including PLA Silk) and glow-in-the-dark PLA and other overly rigid or flexible materials. The device also has an intelligent PTC fuse and two temperature sensors that monitor operating conditions and automatically disconnect the power supply when abnormal temperature is detected.
