Epson LQ-690 Dot Matrix Printer Optimal printing speed, reliability, color ribbon characteristics, and ease of use. The universal Epson LQ-690 prints on single sheets, continuous paper, labels, envelopes, and cardboard. Compact and user-friendly design easily adapts to various conditions, locations, and applications. High Printing Speed The Epson LQ-690 is fast and efficient: it prints up to 529 characters per second (10 cpi), increases paper capacity, and supports various media. The new printing speed booster allows even faster printing of graphic data in Windows®. The Epson LQ-690 is an ideal solution for anyone expecting very high performance from their dot matrix printer. Innovative Printing Speed Booster The Printing Speed Enhancer (PSE) is a new feature in the Epson printer driver for quickly printing graphic data in Windows®. This ensures a clear speed increase when resolution is slightly reduced. Perfect for direct printing with Windows® applications such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and PDF. High Reliability A Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 20,000 power-on hours makes the Epson LQ-690 particularly reliable. A high MTBF value means fewer downtimes and maintenance. Long printhead life—up to 400 million impacts per needle—enables reliable printing over a long time. Performance increases, and continuous operation is ensured with low maintenance costs.
