Designed for advanced materials
The Centauri Carbon 2 is designed to work with a wide range of filaments – from everyday PLA and PETG to advanced carbon and glass fiber reinforced materials. The fully enclosed chamber and smart grid system help maintain a stable internal temperature, reducing the risk of warping and cracking when printing complex materials such as ABS, ASA, PA, PC, PPS and PPA composites.

A 350 °C high-temperature nozzle and 110 °C heated bed provide the thermal characteristics required for engineering applications. Together with a durable brass hardened steel nozzle and titanium alloy thermal insulation, the printer is ideal for abrasive composite fibers and long production runs.

Fast and precise CoreXY operation
Operating on a CoreXY motion system, the Centauri Carbon 2 delivers print speeds of up to 500 mm/s and acceleration of 20,000 mm/s². Despite the speed, the printer maintains excellent dimensional accuracy – ±0.1 mm – making it suitable for both rapid prototyping and production of functional parts.

A sturdy frame, triple Z-axis lead screws and linear guide rods help ensure stable movement and consistent layer quality even at high printing speeds.

Automatic calibration for reliable printing
To simplify setup and improve first-layer consistency, the printer features a 121-point automatic bed leveling system. Fully automatic calibration reduces the need for manual adjustment and helps users achieve reliable results with minimal preparation time.

An advanced cooling system with multiple high-speed fans controls temperature throughout the printing process. Dedicated part cooling and auxiliary cooling fans improve surface quality and part sharpness, while the hotend fan helps prevent clogs and maintains a stable extrusion process.

Designed for everyday use
