Roanoke 1587 AD, America. A small Roanoke colony is left alone after John White, who tried to bring more supplies to the colony from England, does not return as promised. Dark prophecies are heard more and more often, and rumors of a dark force become louder and louder. Hoping for a man of God, the villagers appoint a witch hunter from among their own. But his hunt does not end even in the highest positions. 9 suspects come into his sights, including a priest and even the town mayor! But suspicion alone is not enough. The witch hunter needs evidence if he does not want to kill the innocent and thus turn the whole town against himself. Kasper Christiansen and Kåre Storgaard's "Pagan: Fate of Roanoke" is a social deduction card game set in 1587 colonial America. The essence of the asymmetric game is the witch's fight against the witch hunter. While the witch seeks to complete the ritual, the hunter tries to track her down and find out her true identity. Both players use variable card decks containing 50 cards each and use different resources to defeat the other side. In this struggle of two forces, many tactics and strategies can be applied, which are necessary to survive.
