Cast a completely new roster of promising Toons and find out if your new actors will win this year's Critic’s Choice award!FlipToons: Season 2 is a fast-paced deck-building game for 1–4 players. This standalone expansion introduces a completely new roster of animated animals dreaming of getting into your production, including aquatic animals and sports stars. Additionally, a new Return mechanic appears in the game, adding even more surprises!FlipToons: Season 2 can be played standalone or combined with the original FlipToons as an expansion, expanding the game to 8 players and providing even more variety.Start each game with a deck of promising Toon actors. In each round, shuffle your entire deck, then take turns revealing Toon cards from the top of the deck and placing them into your 3 × 2 grid so you can hold a casting together. Each Toon card has different talent effects that often depend on which grid position it ends up in. Many cards interact with each other and can earn your studio Fame, but not every combination creates the desired on-screen chemistry. Some Toons don't get along at all!After each Flip, count the Fame points of the current Toons grid and spend them to hire new stars. You can also spend some Fame to remove a card and send an unsuccessful actor off the stage. Return Fame to zero, shuffle the deck, and reveal cards again.If you are the first to collect 30 or more Fame in a single Flip, you receive the Critic’s Choice award, granting additional Fame points and triggering the end of the game. After that, the round's market phase comes the time for the Final Flip. The player who collects the most Fame during the Final Flip wins. Applause!
