Clank! A Deck-Building Adventure – Master Thief Edition updates the beloved deck-building adventure game: improved game balance, updated packaging and components, plus the added "Wandering Monsters" mini expansion.In the new edition you will find updated packaging and new map artwork. The Rage, health and market tracks have been moved onto separate thick cardboard boards with recessed spots where the cubes sit more stably. This leaves more space on the main board for the dungeons. The game is also enhanced with new ghost cubes and secret tokens.The changes are not limited to appearance. Updated end-of-game rules, dangerous ghosts and changes to some cards give the adventure new challenges.The countdown timer used in the original game has been removed. In the "Master Thief Edition", when a player escapes from the dungeon or is knocked out, a dragon attack is triggered on each of their turns, using four cubes.Ghosts also appear in the game! These menacing white cubes will be familiar to those who have played Clank! Catacombs. They are placed on the spaces of the new Rage track and added to the bag when the dragon reaches the corresponding level. When a ghost cube is drawn, all players take one point of damage.In the base version of the game you will also find the "Wandering Monsters" mini expansion with 14 new dungeon deck cards and 40 wandering monster tokens. They interact with the colored tunnel monster symbols found on all "Master Thief Edition" maps. Defeat a monster whose color matches the token's color and claim the reward! Since different tunnels offer different incentives in each game, you will have to choose new routes and perhaps try less-visited paths.
