Apraksts
The crunch of crabs biting into ice. A tired hand pushing an ice axe into a snow-covered wall. Heavy breathing as you struggle to lift your body to gain another half meter. Just 100... 50 meters separate you from the summit of K2, one of the hardest eight-thousanders. Standing in the blinding sun, you look down to where your tent awaits. But to reach it, you must battle through a snowstorm raging on the hardest section. Will you make it? In K2, each player leads a team of 2 climbers competing against other teams to reach the summit and survive until the end of an 18-day expedition. How does it work? Players move climbers across the board using cards played each round. The higher a climber ascends, the more victory points they earn by game end. However, at higher mountain locations, you must be cautious of acclimatization level. If it falls below 1, the exhausted climber dies and the player loses any victory points earned. Therefore, it is crucial to choose the right route to the summit, optimally place tents, and pay attention to the weather, which greatly influences the difficulty of the ascent. Himalayan mountaineering is a strange sport; on one hand, the climber must overcome their own weaknesses and limitations step by step; on the other, they must battle the mountain and the weather.
