    Apraksts

Land vs Sea is a combination of puzzle and strategy game in which players build a shared map together. Play as Land or Sea, and in a three-player game one player becomes the Cartographer. Each player has 2 double-sided hexagonal tiles depicting land and sea forms. Players take turns placing one tile, forming the map together. Land aims to complete land territories, while Sea aims to complete sea territories. For a completed territory, 1 point is awarded for each tile that makes it up: Land scores points for land territories, and Sea for sea territories. Some tiles give additional points to the player who completes the territory in which they are located. Therefore, sometimes it is worth strategically completing an opponent's territory and taking its bonus. Other tiles allow an extra move or stealing another player's tile, but the last tile cannot be stolen. Since players have 2 double-sided tiles - one side is always revealed, and the other remains hidden until it is used - planning is based on partial information, so there is no shortage of surprises. Players replenish used tiles up to 2, choosing from two face-up tile stacks. The strategy lies in careful tile placement, aiming to score points from as many land or sea territories as possible while reducing opponents' opportunities to score points from tiles you placed. Watch for possible opponent moves, strategically manage the game pace using Play Again and Steal tiles, and look for opportunities to earn valuable bonus points in your and your opponents' territories. The game ends when the last tile is placed. The player or team with the most points wins. Additional scoring rules: Mountain & Coral scoring - points are awarded for chains of interconnected Mountain (land) and Coral (sea) segments. Caravan & Ship scoring - points are awarded for Caravan and Ship elements added to trade routes on the map. At the end of the game, for each trade route, points go to the one who has the majority in it: more Caravan gives the route to Land, more Ship to Sea. Waypoints - additional points that can be placed on the map to encourage cooperation or earn points for yourself. Game for 2, 3 and 4 players: 2 players can compete one-on-one, and 4 players can play in teams using the basic rules and any additional scoring options. In a four-player game, Waypoints are used so that the strongest player on the team cannot directly instruct their partner what to do. The more complex 3-player mode uses all additional scoring rules and features asymmetric play. The Cartographer earns points by connecting Mountain and Coral segments, while all players compete for bonus points and control of trade routes.
