The "NS-2R" is a high-quality semi-slick tire, perfectly suited for spirited driving on the road or on the racetrack. The continuous shoulder tread design improves rigidity to increase cornering grip, while the tread pattern is designed to improve water drainage and help manage wet weather. Ideally suited for road and track driving. The E mark is for street driving. Excellent high-speed stability. The optimized tread compound and pattern provide excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions. The "NS-2R" tire's tread width is optimized, so the contact patch is up to 13% wider than conventional tires, improving high-speed stability. Most size options are "Street" type with a 180 treadwear rating, but there are also certain sizes intended only for "Motorsport" vehicles (80 or 120 treadwear rating).
