The digital automotive power probe reduces the time spent diagnosing faults in a vehicle's electrical system. Powered by the vehicle's battery, positive or negative current can be delivered to the probe tip by simply operating the rocker switch. The unit is short-circuit protected and can test for bad ground connections. It allows tracing and locating short circuits. It can also test for continuity of a circuit using the auxiliary ground lead.
